“BCO” Community Builders focus their creative and innovative efforts to enlighten and empower individuals who may benefit from the services of:
“Project Birth Angels” recognizes and supports healthy youth development. Many youth in shelters aren’t afforded an opportunity to experience normal childhood highpoints due to limited family resources. PBA identifies local homeless youth to organize birthday parties celebrating their special day.
“Opportunity University” provides enriching material promoting self-efficacy and financial freedom highlighting Job Readiness, Financial Literacy and the importance of Purposeful Living (one’s life purpose and purpose of life).
Fatherhood Matters Initiative:
“Child and Father Connection” (CFC) helps restore and support the relationship between father and child(ren) who may be incarcerated. Community Builders will help provide and facilitate means of communication through visits, by phone or letter.
“Daddies that Care” is a support group geared for current and/or expecting fathers. Participants will be engaged in a supportive network of men who share resources and experiences aimed to strengthen the bond between father and child(ren).
“Project Daddy and Me” is a program geared to allow fathers to collectively come together with their child(ren) in fellowship to spend time in a structured activity for the chosen day. This activity promotes fatherhood involvement which aids in the welfare and development of our children.
“Rites of Passage Boy’s Youth Mentorship” is a youth program supporting boys age 7-18 with tutoring, recreation, job readiness and healthy relationship building.
